You were hoping that Robert Pattinson was going to pack on a bunch of muscle and by the time that Batman wraps up he was going to be looking as big as Ben Affleck in his suit in Batman v Superman and Justice League, oh we got some bad news for you as the actor recently opened up in an interview and he says he's not lifting weights at all and he doesn't care.
So obviously Ben Affleck had a suit that was made for him, you know, if you look at the suit on set, they enhance the muscle they add to it they do this for a lot of superhero costumes within DC films just to make the characters look godlike and obviously there's an aesthetic there that a lot of people like and there's a lot of people that don't like it as well.
I fall in the middle. I like my Batman to be right there in the middle. I like Batman to be an agile ninja to be buffed but not overly buff but I also don't like he's super skinny looking Batman for me.
I think Christian Bale and Batman Begin, Batman the dark knight had a pretty good build on him, but then they covered it up with armor so you could really see him but then again Batman is also a ninja so he needs to be agile, so it's whatever preference you have I guess.
Recently GQ Got the Catch up With Robert Pattinson and interview him during this whole lockdown thing and asks him about his workouts and what he's doing and he's not doing anything he's actually refusing to lift weights or do anything other than just eat the food that they told him to eat and obviously this has a caught the attention of a lot of.
Will now if you look at the past Batman's you know, I've already mentioned Christian male he put on a good amount of muscle mass. If you'll have an athletic we know yes, they enhance the with scenes. Sure the suit was shown a certain way to make it look bigger but yeah his Batman was pretty big but then if you go throughout history, you'll get some of the other actors that were Batman Michael Keaton, for example, George Clooney, Val Kilmer there wasn't a whole lot of muscle there right like yes, they were in shape but they weren't muscular and Pattinson talks about this and the unrealistic expectations and all this in the interview and he's echoed a lot of these sentiments before and honestly, you know, I'm halfway there with him, but also he's BATMAN, he shouldn't be doing Nothing.
So yeah how you guys feel about that how do you guys feel about Batman not wanting to work out because uh, it seems to be causing a lot of controversies online.
