Ganpati Special: How Gully Boy Siddhant Chaturvedi managed dismissals as an entertainer

Exclusive: Siddhant Chaturvedi on celebrating Ganesh Utsav with his society friends; remembers dancing on streets during visarjan

It's that season when Siddhant Chaturvedi takes as much time as necessary out to be with his companions, he grew up with. Together they sort out a multi day occasion as they bring home Lord Ganesha in their general public. The entertainer feels that Ganesha showers divine forces upon him and he even invests energy with the ruler each time he feels low. Discussing the bond he imparts to Ganesha, Siddhant says, "I have consistently had confidence in Ganesha. In any event, during when I was reading for 12 hours for my CA tests, I used to visit my general public's pandal at 2 am when there would be nobody around. It gave me tremendous harmony. At that point during my battling days, at whatever point I used to get dismissals I used to come here and feel better. I used to feel that so imagine a scenario in which they don't choose me for promotions or movies, this is my stage and no one can remove this from me.

In the same way as other Mumbaikars, Siddhant Chaturvedi, as well, observes Ganesh Utsav alongside his lodging society individuals. For more than two decades now, the entertainer and his companions have been sorting out network celebrations in his private complex. The entertainer, who increased enormous prevalence with Gully Boy a year ago, gives full credit to this celebration for bringing forth the filmi keeda in him. In a selective visit with BT, he shares his beloved recollections related with the festivals.

You can't imagine vision the amount I would move in the city during the visarjan. From Goregaon, we go to Powai for visarjan. During the excursion, which would keep going for three-four hours, we would move like insane on Marathi tunes like Wajle Ki Bara, Vaat Majhi Baghtoy Rickshawala, and so on. I would move alongside my companions, all out T-shirt faadke (chuckles!). I would go down on my knees and move out and about… joota kidhar hai, chappal kidhar hai, gulaal aankh, kaan, naak mein udd raha hai… absolute frenzy. After this extreme cardio, with hungry stomachs, we would bounce onto the truck and have garma garam vada pav.
