Palakkad: Another shocking act against humanity and created outrage and anger in a country that how inhuman humans can act, killing of 15-year pregnant elephant shows us how cruel a human being could be, if animals could speak the tongue of humans they may have started a war against humans against this total utter act of cruelty.

 Those criminals should be charged under the code of murder and should be hanged who did it for their cruel enjoyment.
The chief minister of the state of Kerala Pinaraayi Vijayan passed a statement that “The forest department is probing the case and the culprits won't be spared” while Mannarkkad forest division registered a case and initiated the further process of law to punish those cruel criminals.
As per Mannarkkad divisional forest officer Sunil Kumar, the elephant is said to have come from silent valley national park’s buffer zone which died on the privately owned land which is 300m distant from Thiruvizhamkunnu forest section.
The victim pregnant elephant chewed an explosive stuffed pineapple and went inside the velliyar river and died on May 27th 2020 at Thiruvizhamkunnu forest section in kottopadam gram panchayat.
Meanwhile, veteran BJP leader and aunt of Rahul Gandhi - Maneka Gandhi slammed Rahul Gandhi for not taking the issue seriously of inhuman cruelty against animals, she even said to look him up on his own constituency issues rather than going in issues of the whole nation.

Virat Kohli, Indian national cricket team captain tweeted “Appalled to hear about what happened in Kerala. Let's treat our animals with love and bring an end to these cowardly acts

While Ratan N.tata tweeted a picture of I am grieved and shocked to know that a group of peoples caused the death of an innocent, passive, pregnant elephant by feeding the elephant with pineapple filled with firecrackers. Such criminal acts against innocent animals are no different than acts of meditated murder against other humans. Justice needs to prevail.”
Replying to him PETA India tweeted “PETA India’s emergency response team is in touch with senior forest officials from Kerala Forest dept. A case has been registered against unidentified persons and they are hopeful of nabbing the perpetrators soon.”

Twitter is flooded with tweets on this cruel act but again after this #tag syndrome country and citizens will engage in their daily issues and will leave this issue behind just like other ones, one TikTok, WhatsApp or other entertaining videos will prove how short our memories are getting and we will this issue behind. But on a greater note, these cruel ones must be put behind the bars and should be punished with harsh punishment so that this bad incident becomes the last one. Every life matters whether it is black, white, Hindu, Muslim, elephant, or anything which breaths.
